Notes:
Teletouch works excellent, glass excellent, chrome no pitting, bumpers very good,
stainless very good, interior original, aftermarket AC which works fine, mechanically
excellent - strong and powerful just needs a water pump. Engine very strong,
starts right up, drive anywhere and miles/speeds without hesitation, an excellent
driver.
Needs: paint, minor bubbling at rear driver door; nothing serious at all, car came from Utah,
or drive as is as an excellent driver. Painting faded and peeled in a couple of
points. Paint, tires, dash padding and water pump and this car is a car show/trophy winner.

The E-475 engine was completely rebuilt approximately 30,000 miles ago, and a 2-barrel
manifold was installed at that time in an attempt to improve the gas mileage. The
Corsair averaged 13-14 MPG highway the recent 1400 mile road trip. The transmission
was also rebuilt and the teletouch shift motor works flawlessly.
The interior was restored with NOS seat material and a new headliner and
carpeting. The car has resided most of its life in Colorado. It was sold new
in Boulder, Colorado at the Arnold Brothers Edsel-Ford dealership. The car appears
to have had 2 small rust spots repaired under the headlights and in the lower front fender
corner when it was painted in 1984. The rest of the car is rust-free as far as I can
tell. Originally it was gold with a white top and side scallops, but was painted
gold/black to the previous owners preference.
The chrome is all original and in very good condition, except for some very minor pits
in the taillight housings. The car will drive okay, however I would recommend the tires
be replaced (they're 15 years old) and the brakes should be looked at, they pull to the
left on panic stops and it can be unnerving. Also, there is a slight exhaust leak at
one of the manifolds. The car is excellent for local cruises and shows, but is not
a Concours-type show car.

Notes:
This is a very presentable older restoration that runs excellently. The car was just
driven on a 1400 mile trip this month. It has an air conditioning unit from a 1963
Ford that blows ice cold. The car has a paint job that was done approximately
20 years ago and it is still very presentable although there are quite a few minor nicks
and chips and three minor dents.
