Notes:
Stunning 1959 Edsel Ranger. It had an expensive repaint in
2008 in the correct Platinum Gray and Show White. The chrome just sparkles. The
only pitting that is apparent is on the two rear fender spears that meet with the side
trim. They can easily be rechromed.
This car has an honest 39,500 original miles on it. It is powered by a whisper quiet 292 V-8 and
automatic transmission. We have driven her on several 400-500 mile jaunts and it purrs like a
kitten. The factory power steering gives you great handling and the dealer-installed A/C is nice
for summer trips. The interior is remarkably clean for a 50-year-old car. Some of the fabric has
been replaced, but the vinyl is all original. The carpet, dash, headliner, door panels, and glass are
original and superb. The trunk, undercarriage, and floors are almost too good to be true.
