361 Super Express V8, Dual-Power 3-speed transmission
Edsel number
711026 manufactured in Louisville, KY
Owner:

The interior is in very good condition and clean with no rips or tears, and dash is
very good also. Glass is good except for a quarter-size stone chip in the middle
of the windshield, and the right vent window has some glass fog from age. The
trunk is clean and very solid with no rust holes. All the stainless and chrome
is good except for some very minor pitting and minor peeling on the rear bumper. I
have all the letters and trim for the front of the hood, just haven't installed them.
The car has good brakes, but the power booster is bad and is disconnected due to a
vacuum leak. Booster needs to be replaced or rebuilt. The car should be
trailered or shipped as it hasn't been driven very far in many years and the bias ply
tires are weather-checked. The car runs good, but should be checked over
completely and tuned up.
I don't know if the mileage is accurate. The speedometer does work.

Drives, but needs restoration

Notes:
Engine has a new Holley 4-barrel carburator. It runs good and the transmission
works well. No leaks. The tires have good tread, but are bias
ply. The car has a very solid body with no dents or rust. There are some
black spots from paint peeling due to a poor prep and paint job that was done over 10
years ago. The car was originally black, now powder blue.
I bought the car three years ago in Louisiana to restore, but haven't had the time to do
it. I am now moving to Florida, so the car must go. The car has never been
driven in MN salt and snow. The car has a permanent MN 1959 original license plate.
