When the guy at the car lot could not find anyone interested in these cars, he sold them to a
local savage yard. But not before his crew decided to break all the side glass, the
windshield and took a tire iron to the sides and roof of both cars (what morons). I
bought the two-door from the savage yard for $500. There is enough there to
save. So far I have been lead to believe that a Lloyd Black bought this car new from
a dealership in Lawrence, Kansas.

When I first saw this car it was one a used car lot, with a rust-colored four-door. They
wanted $1000 apiece for the cars. He told me that he bought the them from original
owner (of the two-door that I now own). The two-door has been sitting in a garage since
1967 with plans of restoring it. The four-door was bought as a parts car.
