This is a daily driver car which I drive at least 4 times a week. Earlier
this month I installed a new battery, new regulator, and rebuilt generator. Last year
I installed a rebuilt carb. All of the glass is good and all of the
windows manually operate. Interior is fair/good. I have also added
a stereo w/cassette underdash, and an aftermarket temp gauge. 1959
California license plates too.
The motor runs well, but is a little rough at idle (may need a tune-up again). Also
at idle when the engine is warm, the oil light will flicker, but goes off again above
idle. The body has some small areas of rot behind all 4 wheels and
some surface rust on the top and hood. All of the chrome an stainless is intact
except the EDSEL letters on the hood. The interior floorboards are solid and strong.
The picture of my Edsel is from the ad when I purchased it.
