"This car had a New Jersey inspection sticker on it from 1973, which I guess was the last
time it was on the road. It also had a Villanova University sticker on the back
window, so I guess it went to college with somebody. It was very rusty with
that rare option of trunk floor delete."

"Eddie and I dated for awhile back in high school in New Jersey in the late 1960's, and the
"Green Machine" was his pride and joy at the time. I remember that car so vividly,
parked in his father's driveway, took up the whole thing, almost! That, and an ice
cream truck he rigged up with a refrigerator unit to sell ice cream to the neighborhood
kids. He went to school at Villanova University, in the Naval ROTC program, and our
association ended sometime around his sophomore year. Anyway, I know he just loved
that car! I can't imagine what he might feel like reading it was scrapped!
