Edsel number
702008 manufactured in Louisville, KY on October 12, 1959
Owner:
Fred Schell
This car has it all, including REAL Kelsy Hays wire wheels with custom Edsel spinner caps.
One of 243, this beautiful and rare Edsel is listed on eBay for the very first time!
This car has had a complete frame off rotisserie restoration. Everything was gone through: engine, transmission,
rear-end, brakes, you name it, it was rebuilt. Starts and runs great. It has a new carburetor, original comes
with car. Everything works in the car except the radio, which turns on and you hear static from the speakers, but
will not tune in any stations.
The car has not been driven much in the last 9 years. It starts right up, but smokes for the first
few minutes. I have been told it needs new valve stem seals.

Notes:
One of the nicest Edsels you may see, this magnificent car was previously owned by the late Edsel collector and restorer Don Carpenter, who had performed a rotisserie restoration on this car.
Originally from California, this car has all of the original body panels, interior floors and trunk floor. This
car has NEVER had any rust!
Body and paint are in very good condition. There is a chip in the right rear of the trunk lid and at the right
rear fender extension. All of the chrome and stainless steel is in very good condition, there are a very few
imperfections in some of the right hand side stainless trim on the rear window. The interior is in very good to
excellent condition.
