Edna is one of only 115 2-door 6 cylinder Edsels produced for 1960. The
International Edsel Owners Club historian's records show there are only ten of
those original 115 still on the road today. Edna is the only one wearing
the rare and quite attractive "Bronze Rose Metallic."
The interior was treated to a complete restoration in 2004, while retaining its
original brightwork, gauges, and controls. The upholstery is in excellent
condition. The door panels were also restored.
The engine compartment displays the factory optioned inline 6 cylinder engine, which
runs very good and has received a complete tune up with many, many parts replaced
including the distributor, motor mounts, water pump, radiator, belt, hoses & clamps,
rebuilt carburetor, fuel pump, plugs & wires, generator & voltage regulator,
and more. The brake system has also been gone through, including new brakes and
lines along with a new master cylinder. All of this work and these parts were
replaced approximately 5 years ago now.
This is a turn-key example ready to enjoy.
