Edsel number
701562 manufactured in Louisville, KY on October 7, 1959

We do have the keys to the car. The interior is also very nice, with original covering, plus it has
the plastic seat protectors on it that you could put on back in the day. We have the title in hand.
While it wouldn't take much to get road ready, I would not say this is a "buy it and drive it home"
car. For your safety, I would highly suggest flat-bedding it back to your home/garage and fully
lubricating it and changing the fluids before actually driving it for any long period.

Notes:
This Ranger would need only a little bit of work to get it ready for the road. I know for sure
that some of the gaskets need to be replaced, maybe even some lines, and the carburetor most likely needs
to be rebuilt, but other than that the engine itself turns free. Tires will also need to be
replaced. It's been in storage for a little over a decade but I do remember a time when this car
was out on the road. The car has been in the family for 30+ years (Grandfather, Dad, myself) and
has been in a storage building for the later half of that time. This used to go to several car shows
and Edsel meets back in the day.
