Year: 1958 | This one-owner barn fresh 1958 Edsel Citation 2-door convertible is 99.5% complete. Original paint, heavily optioned. 70,566 original miles. This car would be an easy restore, it is pretty solid. All glass is intact. All chrome is there and in very restorable shape, needs a good polishing. Pushbutton transmission. Interior is the roughest part since it has been sitting with the top and windows down. The car has been stored in a garage for the last 18 years, since my grandfather passed away, but it was on the road in 1990. Located in northern New Jersey, about 25 minutes outside of New York City.

I am assisting my father-in-law in selling this car.. I have watched the care and attention he has given this car since I met him in 1960. He has been an Edsel purest and proud owner of several really nice cars through the years, Edsels and others. This car, however, has been his pride and joy. It has been garaged for the majority of its life and for the last 15+/- years only driven to car shows, Edsel Owner events and other special occasions. While he rates the car as a Class 3 (not for show), it garnered the trophy for Best of Show - Station Wagon Class at a Las Vegas Event not too many years back. I drove the car last August to a park to take the attached pictures. It drove well but there is a noticeable exhaust leak at the manifold. Overall the car appears to be in good condition and certainly would be a Class 3 or higher vehicle.
The car is located in central Colorado. More pictures are available. Priced
quickly. |

Year: 1958 | Due to circumstances beyond our control we must sell albeit very reluctantly. This 1958 Edsel Citation 2-door hardtop with a newly rebuilt 410 V8 engine is beautiful to look at as well as a great driver. The black and white exterior is still very impressive as it has been parked inside since it's restoration a few years ago. The interior has been restored to factory original. The headliner is still original. There are many new and nos parts on the car as well as extra parts which are included. Manual is also included. The Teletouch and aftermarket gages are in excellent condition. This car is a real head turner. We would like to see it go to someone who will love it as much as us. Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Please contact us through forsale@edsel.com, and include "Ad 254" in the subject. |

Year: 1959 | 292 V-8, automatic transmission. Manual brakes and steering. Runs and drives well, with many new parts either rebuilt or replaced including: upper & lower ball joints, tie rod ends, front wheel bearings, front shocks, brake system completely redone, new rear leaf springs, fuel pump rebuilt, new carb. Has approximately 106,500 miles on it. No missing trim pieces - everything complete. There is a hole in the rear bumper near tailpipe and there is some rust through in the front floor pan on the driver’s and passenger’s side (silver-dollar sized). Car does need some body work to fix previous bad paint job and amateur body repair. Interior is in good shape with everything intact and no holes in the upholstery.
Need to sell because I don’t have a good place to store it and I hate seeing it sit outside
for very long! |

Year: 1959 | This was my father's project before he passed away last year. I was hoping to finish it for him, but it doesnt look like I will be able to get to it any time soon. This car needs to go to someone who wants to devote the time needed. My father had a newly rebuilt 292 engine with a 312 head and a four barrel carburetor installed in 2001. He didnt drive it much, but kept it in his garage. The car starts easily and drives great. The driver side window is broken and doesn't roll up. I keep the car covered so rain doesnt get in. There is some rust in the trunk and minor rust the body, but nothing major. It also needs all new interior. This is a very solid car and I think it's perfect for restoration. There is an extra set of front and rear passenger doors and several pieces of replacement trim. I welcome any calls or email about this car and will try to answer everything the best I can. I hate to see this go, but it needs to belong to someone who really appreciates Edsels. Contact Steve Salisbury in Dothan, Alabama at salisburyclan@comcast.net or 334-685-2973 |
