Year: 1958	Located in Central Valley of California, Modesto area. Complete car.  Runs and drives well.  361ci E-400 motor, with pushbutton automatic.  Straight body.  Some rust, with one real bad spot below the tailgate.  Some kinda bad spots in the drip rail.  Previous owner repaired rusted through floor boards with fiberglass patches.  Actually did a good job, and patched floors are solid.  Previous owner also rebuilt the motor.  Runs great, but could probably use a carb rebuild or new carb.  Teletouch shifter is a little touchy from time to time, but that's part of owning a 58 Edsel, I guess. Needs new brake line run to the rear brakes.  It broke on the road one day, and I just crimped it up to limp home and have never gotten around to fixing it. Bought it a few years ago as a project for the wife to eventually drive, but she lost interest and I've never gotten around to it.  She'd rather have some new furniture and it's her car so it's for sale...  We just want to get out of it what we've got in it. Year: 1959	Original 62,000 miles.  President Red with Snow White top.  Interior is vinyl silver/black cloth in excellent condition.  The back seat is partially covered with original factory clear seat cover.  Chrome and glass in good shape.  292 V-8 engine runs real good.  Two-speed automatic transmission, power steering.  Extra set of wheel covers in the trunk.  Body appears to be in very good shape.  Paint looks good, but there are a few areas that have been buffed through.  Left door has had some minor repair.  It is missing one of the hood hinge spring.  No radio.  Clock isn't working.  Two brand new tires. Year: 1959	The car runs great, very clean and rust free.  Talisman Red and Moonrise Gray, interior is silver and black vinyl with black Surf Cloth (not present).  Ranger 292 V8 with 2-speed automatic transmission.  The car is painted a not-quite-right shade of pink, but the gray seems correct.  Paint is in very good condition. There is a tiny bit of bubbling on the passenger side front quarter panel in the usual spot.  Some door dings on the driver's side, but nothing of any substance.  A really nice looking car.  Radio, wipers, etc., all work.  Clock isn't working. There is an after-market CD player under the dash and new speakers in the rear.  The tires are brand new white wall bias ply tires with correct wheel covers, probably $800 right there.  There is an extra correct rim and wheel cover in the trunk (see pictures). Oh, and the best part: 22,700 original miles.  Current owner is its second owner. Located in Eagle Rock, which is on the east side of Los Angeles (near Glendale). Year: 1959	This car is model 57B.  Only 1300 or so were produced. The car has 77,760 original miles.  It has been repainted once the original colors, turquoise and white.  The paint job still shines after 30 years.  All of the stainless is is great shape.  All of the other trim and chrome is there.  It's missing one "D" on the passenger side fender.  The whole car is very solid, and has only some bubbles under the paint on the driver's side wheel well, "2 inch area".  The interior is completely original and the front seat needs to be reupholstered.  All of the guages are in excellent condition.  The glass is in superb condition with no fogging whatsoever.  It's been garage kept and adult owned.  The engine is a rebuilt 361 "Super Express" 303hp.  It runs great.  The transmission is a "dual power" automatic 3-speed.  It shifts well.  All numbers match.  This car could win a show for originality. Year: 1958	In very good condition, can drive anywhere.  Green and white, car was repainted (original colors).  Dash is in immaculate condition.  Engine and transmission rebuilt.  Runs beautifully, shifts nice, etc.  No leaks from anything. : Radiator redone.  Chrome is original and in good shape except for a few spots here and there, some pieces could use redoing.  Driver's and passenger's front glass have cracks, not bad though.  Probably from all that "rattling" through the years. Interior was redone to original pattern, and also have rolls of original Edsel fabric that goes with the car.  Hooded mirrors in good shape, spinner hubcaps, power steering, T&C radio, clock, Teletouch never had a problem and was properly serviced and cleaned.  Nice hood ornament.
