My mechanic says the transmission is shot, the suspension is rotted and the engine is running on 2 cylinders.  The body is straight with all the interior and trim and dash in perfect condition.  It is a gem to look at but needs paint - not because of rust but because of not being cared for.  I don't have the money to fix this up like I wanted so I want to sell it to someone who does or can use it to ressurect another car.  I paid $2000.00 for the car.  I will take best offer.

All original, body good - little rust, chrome good, glass good except cracked windshield and driver's window.  E-400 361 V8 engine runs good, re-cored radiator, new shift collar, rebuilt 4-barrel Holley carburetor, new fuel, vacuum, and coolant lines.  Very nice interior, restored upholstry, all accessories work.
Original salmon color, original spare tire, 53,687 miles.  Is currently used for my daily driver, and it leaks a little oil out of the rear main seal.  The car could easily be restored to showing condition, but I have to sell it because I'm a student, and I will be moving soon.
It's very reliable, and a very nice ride.  The car is located in Denver, Colorado.  I can e-mail pictures upon request.

Canadian Pacer 2 door hardtop, Emerald Green Metallic w/white scallop, column automatic, radio, heater, whitewalls, wheel covers.  This is an original 46,000 mile car that has not been restored except for new paint.  Original spare is still in the trunk.

This car was bought new by the owner's neighbor, and he has owned it since 1978.  Looks to be in 2+ condition.  I've created an online photo album from the photos his son sent me.

'59 Needs a loving home.

This car was purchased in 1998 and used a daily driver until 2000.  It has a v8 292 with a 3-speed manual transmission (3 on the tree).  Engine runs good.  The rear main does leak, though.  Needs clutch adjustment.  Other then that it's machanically sound.  80,000 miles on the engine.

Cosmetically needs some work.  Mostly surface rust with a couple holes (thanks to MI salt storms in the winter).  Front bumper has a tear.  Trim's ok (some dents) and the glass is all good.  I had hopes of fully restoring it, but do not have the time/effort to put towards it.

Partially restored.  Gold metallic, only 4 known in this color.  New rebuilt 361 never been started.  All new wheel cylinders, master cyl, lines and hoses.  Needs a gas tank, transmission, left quarter and rocker.  Have all pieces to finish, good chrome and tinted glass, could use a front seat and some bodywork to finish.  It wouldn't take a lot to put it on the road the way it is.  I have some extra parts including new top in the box.

Engine is not original, it is a 374+ hp 390.  The interior is very clean, and the body is straight.  I also have all the trim pieces.  The previous owner shaved the door handles, and it needs to be set back right.  There are also two windows that are cracked/chipped.  The front and rear glass is new.  The engine was rebuilt less than a year ago, and the transmission is probably going to need it soon.  The entire engine bay has been cleaned up and all mechanical parts are new or reconditioned.  I DO NOT WANT TO SELL THIS CAR, but I have a baby due in about a week and we need the money.

Condition: This is an overall nice Driver that could easily become Show if desired.  A complete car with nothing missing.  Red, white top and scallop (originally green & white), rare column-mounted automatic (data plate verified), manual steering/brakes.  Solid frame, minor floor rust that has been repaired/replaced.  Car has 2 hooded mirrors (some pitting) and spinner wheelcovers that are near mint.

New Items: NOS hood ornament, rechromed front and rear bumpers, 4 Coker Classic wide whites, gas tank, brakes, carb overhaul (rare original Edsel Holley 4150 #1483), professionally installed headliner, shocks, exhaust, etc, etc.  I've spent a lot of money making this a reliable and presentable car that can drive anywhere.

Appearance: Stainless is nice, some minor pitting of potmetal although the tail light housings, nameplate and trunk ornament were replaced with very nice used pieces.  All lenses nice, grill and horsecollar very nice.  Seats and door panels recoverd non-original black, dash painted red.  Exterior is an amatuer restoration and paint job that is presentable for a driver but needs redone for Show, if desired.

Runs well, my mother drives it to church every Sunday just to give it regular road time.  I just paid to have carburetor rebuilt and water pump.  I don’t believe there are any significant dents or rust.  My Grandfather did body work and gave it a new paint job (white) a few years ago.  The interior is in great condition but I think there may be a tube out in the radio.  It was working a couple of years ago, but we can’t seem to pick anything up now.  I would guess that it has its original glass.  I don’t believe there is anything missing or mechanically inoperative.  The car is located in Yakima, Washington, and digital pictures are available to be emailed.

Color is White over Brown, 223 six cylinder 2-speed automatic.  The engine was completely overhauled in 1999 and currently has 127,000 miles on the engine, but only 27,000 miles on the overhaul.  It uses no oil and the transmission shifts perfectly.  It is a daily driver and drives great.  I drive 60 miles daily.

The body is in good condition, just a little rust bubbles starting around the rear wheels.  The only option is the automatic transmission, no radio and even manual choke.  All chrome is nice and shiny.

I need to sell it to pay for sons college, otherwise I would not sell her - she is a very nice driving and looking car.  I would also consider a newer model economy Ford or Dodge product for trade.

Thanks!  Fred Eck, 128 Woodland Drive, Eaton, Ohio 45320-9671.

This is a wonderful 1959 Edsel Ranger sedan, that I am selling for a friend.  He is the second owner of this car, and bought it in 1961 when it had 19000 miles on it.  It is a beautiful automobile for its age.  It has been well cared for, and always been shedded.  It is all original paint with a few touchups with professionally mixed paint  Chrome is in excellent condition and all intact.  There is very little rust on this car.

There is a very small amount on the floor, but none goes through.  All parts are original.  No missing buttons or handles.  Every crank, button, or handle works.  The doors close nice and solid.  No frozen or unmovable parts.
All emblems intact and in place.  All hub caps are original, and all glass is original and unbroken.

It has been driven in local parades, and taken for a ride in the country every year since its retirement as the family car in 1965.  It now has historical license plates.

The engine starts immediately and really "purrs".  I could hardly hear it when he drove it out of the shed to take the pictures.  THIS IS A CAR YOU CAN DRIVE HOME!

Please email adelines@nvc.net for more pictures and information.

Beautiful, 1959 Edsel Corsair, 4 door.  I am the 3rd owner.  (The original owner was bugged so much by one of his co-workers about "that ugly car", that he left it to him in his will!)
This butter mint green beauty has a reupholstered black and gold interior, in great condition.  (I think the car was originally black.)  The outer paint needs some help on the roof, but other than that "he" runs well.

"Ed" appeared in the film "Hearts In Atlantis", with Anthony Hopkins in 2001.  He has also appeared in print ads with me, and in car shows.  He is my "Prince" and a head-turner.  "Ed" currently resides in Roanoke, VA with my ex-husband who is also a car enthusiast.

Please contact Kat at mommakatw@earthlink.net or James at jbreakell@breakellconstruction.com for more details.  Thank you!

Complete with a 7.7 liter E-475 engine.  Straight body, from hubcaps to push-button shifting, it's all there.  The car was stored for a long time.  The brake lines were cut so no one would drive it.  It's had its share of the sun here in San Diego, CA, but it would be the ideal car for restoration.  Nothing is missing, runs but needs carburetor and radiator rod out and brake line repair to drive away.  Fast and easy project.

Please contact Robert at JSANGSANOY@aol.com or call cell phone 619-788-2082, or pager 619-256-0257, anytime.
Thank you.

Rebuilt 361ci, new Denham Classic wide whitewall tires.  Newer interior.  A complete brake job was done about 8000 miles ago, new wheel cylinders, hoses and new master cylinder.  No power anything.  Rebuilt generator and new regulator, air cleaner and valve covers powder-coated correct color.  Stainless dual exhaust with 36in glass packs and chrome turn downs tucked up and turned out under the rear bumper.  Glass is nice with the exception of the windshield, which has a crack.  Needs a heater core.  Has one small ding in the hood and a small ding in the trunk chrome, has small chips in the paint around the car but no major damage.  Also has a few small rust holes in the trunk, and a little rust under the rear license plate.  Car comes with a set of rechromed factory spinners.  Some replating has been done.  Has current California black license plates.  Original radio does not work but comes with a nice under-dash CD am/fm radio.  This is a daily driver and runs out nice.  Light aqua body with a white top and spear.  I have a lot of the repair receipts.

Contact Larry Nopper at thelarryleeshow@aol.com.  You may come by and check out the car in Hesperia, California, in the high desert between Los Angels and Las Vegas, just off the I-15 interstate.  Call for an appointment at 760-949-4747 after 12 noon PST.

Will consider part trades, I'm looking for a VW Thing or a pre-'67 VW bus or any model '58 Edsel.

I have a 1958 Edsel Pacer convertible, true show car condition that I'm interested in selling.  The car's condition is a "9" throughout.

The car belonged to my father who died 2 years ago.  He had a collection of cars, but the Edsel was his favorite.

Photographs of the car are listed on my father's car museum website.  The museum is not and has never been a for-profit business.  The cars were never offered for sale prior to his death.

For more information, please contact Donnie Solomon in Roxboro, NC, at 336-597-3891.

I have a 59 Edsel for sale through a Ford dealership locally, with a unique twist.  The car and both sides of a color copy of the title were autographed by Edsel B. Ford II himself in November 2002.  The copies of the title are framed and they, a disc of pictures taken of Edsel and others with the car and, of course, the actual title go with the car.  The pictures were taken by me and to my knowledge this is the only car ever autographed by Edsel Ford.  Please contact me for more info if you or anyone you know is interested.  You can reach me at nelson4@sctelcom.net or call me at 316-312-5447.

Rebuilt transmission and engine, runs and drives well.  However it was sanded down to paint, then left outside.  There is much surface rust.  It needs to be resanded and the restoration finished.
You could not rebuild a transmission or engine for the asking price.  I have about $4000.00 in the car.   A great deal for someone looking for a project to complete.

1959 Ranger 2-door sedan
"Located in southern NJ, just east of Philidelphia.  The car is black with a black and gray interior.  This car has been owned by my father since 1969.  A factory rebuilt Ford 292 was installed in 1971 and now has approx 23,000 miles on it (we have put less than 5,000 miles on it in the last 15 years).  Two years ago a new tranny was installed.  The car runs and drives good and could use a good work out to clean out the cobwebs from lack of use.  The body has some small rust at the quarter panels by the wheel wells on both sides, and the upper corners at the back end are slightly dented (just the corners where the chrome trim is; nothing major).  Other than that the car is extremely solid.  The black paint is starting to orange peel and probably should be repainted, although you could drive the car as is.  The interior has no rips or tears, although on the drivers seat bottom there is about a 6 inch section where the threads have come out.  It is a pretty basic model.  About the only accessory in it is the AM radio.  The only thing the car really needs to be driven regularly is a neutral safety switch (it will start in any gear).  We are asking $3200.  I looked at the price guide and am guessing this car is in a high class 4 condition.  There are also about four good size boxes of spare parts that go with it.  Please feel free to contact me, Ernie Baals at shadetree4x4@aol.com, or call at 856-435-5286.  All offers will be considered.  We would like the car to go to a good home."
