1960 Edsels: New, Nifty, Thrifty

Manufactured only between August and November 1959, the 1960 model year has some of the rarest production numbers of any post-war automobile. Convertibles, as well as some station wagon and four-door hardtop models, had less than 100 units assembled before the Edsel Division threw in the towel.

	Here's a '60 two-door sedan with rusty quarters. A fellow Edsel enthusiast gave this picture to David Fleisher sometime in the early seventies.
	Here's a 1971 photo of a black '60 four-door sedan with missing hubcaps and a damaged front door.
	This '60 Ranger was for sale in Cincinnati in 1976 for $100. It was in running and driving condition. It had a large piece of galvanized metal pop-riveted in place of the trunk floor.
	A very rare and pristine, original 46,000-mile '60 four-door hardtop still in the hands of the original owner in Norwood, Ohio 1980.
